This “Locate Me” feature is offered as a convenience, and is not required to use the app.Location data is queried only to locate your nearest station when you load the app and when you click on the “Locate Me” button. Location data is only queried if you’ve granted access to your device’s location services to United of Transit, and can be revoked at anytime under privacy settings. If you enable location sharing, your location is never sent to our server.
Information usage
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets. If our services are acquired by or merged with another company, we’ll notify you via this page before any information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
As matter of policy we don’t share, sell, trade, or give any collected information, unless required by law.
